Quiet Encounters is a small, curated collection of wildlife photographs focused on moments of stillness, attention, and presence.

These images are not about spectacle or rarity. They are about waiting, moments observed slowly, often at the edges of movement and light.

Each photograph in the collection was selected for its ability to hold space over time. The collection is intentionally limited, with images chosen for their calm, balance, and suitability as prints to live with rather than simply be noticed.

The work is photographed in natural conditions, without staging or manipulation, and printed to order using archival materials.

The photographs are by Stephen Pollard, a UK based wildlife photographer with a long-standing interest in quiet observation and the natural world.
